
Ranji Trophy 2025: The Ranji Trophy, a premier domestic first-class cricket championship organised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India, is set to commence on Thursday, January 23rd. The BCCI has issued guidelines encouraging senior players to participate in domestic matches when not on international duty.
Ahead of the tournament, Indian Test Captain Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Shreyas Iyer confirmed their availability for the upcoming Ranji Trophy, representing the Mumbai team. This marks Rohit Sharma’s return to domestic cricket after a decade. He is expected to play only two matches in the Ranji Trophy as the three-match ODI series between India and England is scheduled to commence on February 6th and will complete on February 12. After that, he will represent the Champions Trophy 2025 which will kick start on February 19. However, fans are eagerly awaiting his return to domestic cricket and are excited to see him play in the Mumbai team.
